How TaskLens uses Google services
We request the minimum scopes needed to deliver these features. TaskLens never sells, advertises with, or shares your Google data, and access is revocable at any time from your Google Account.
Sign in with Google
Used only to create your TaskLens account and to sign you back in on a new device. We store your name and email so we can show your profile and recover your data after reinstall. We never read your inbox or contacts.
Google Drive backup
With your permission, TaskLens stores an encrypted copy of your tasks, habits, and settings in your own Google Drive's hidden app-data folder. We can only read and write files we created — we cannot access any other file in your Drive.
Calendar sync
One-way sync from TaskLens to your Google Calendar. When enabled, tasks with a due date appear as events on your calendar so they show up alongside meetings. We do not read or modify events created outside TaskLens.
